Project Planning 2019-20
President Brad sent out a message recapping last Thursday's meeting at which he proposed how we might plan the projects our club will undertake in the coming year.  There's lots to think about!  Please share your thoughts with the club by emailing project-planning-2019-20@sprucegroverotary.org.  We will be working more on this matter throughout the summer.
Resignation of Lyle Huston
Lyle Huston has decided that his time as a Rotarian has come to an end.  Please see an excerpt from an email Lyle sent me below.  I have thanked him on behalf of the club for his service.  Please reach out to Lyle if you want at lhuston@xplornet.com.

President Brad

After nearly 17 great years with Rotary its time for me to leave.

With Rema and I traveling more and us spending 4 or 5 months a year in Maui I have become somewhat disengaged in Rotary so it’s time for me to move on.

It has been a great 17 years and I have made so many great friends and had so much fun at meetings, curling, and the many social events.

I am very proud of all the many charities we have been able to help and all the money we were able to raise at Lobsterfest over the years...  I will make a point of keeping in touch...

Rotary is a great organization and Spruce Grove is a great club, I’m proud to have been a part.

Thanks,

Lyle Huston

Notice of Board Meetings
Members of the club are encouraged to attend and observe our monthly board meetings.  For the 2019-2020 year, they will be held on the fourth Wednesday of every month at the clubhouse in Rotary Centennial Park beginning at 7:00 PM and ending at 8:30 PM.  If you can't attend in person, we are also now able to bring you in remotely using Zoom's online meeting software.  The URL for the meetings will be the same from month to month, so you may want to bookmark this address:  https://zoom.us/j/224919848.  Hope to see you there!
Attendance at Weekly Meetings
Just a quick reminder that if you are going to be away and won't be attending a weekly meeting, can you please indicate by clicking the "Can't Make It" Button.  The email comes out on Fridays and is called the "May Rotary Meetings" or whichever month it is.  The email comes from Crystal Desilets.  I use this info for informing Shotz how many people will be there for lunch.  Also if you are bringing a guest could you fill in the "Bring a Guest" button.  Thanks for helping out with this as it's makes my job easier if I have all the information.
Have Information for The Rotary RAP?
Have a Rotary Story, pictures from a Rotary Social and/or information for the Rotary RAP?

Send me (Krista) an email:  krista.mastaler@gmail.com by Sunday evenings at the latest so that I can include it in the weekly RAP on Mondays!

Thanks everyone!!!!
