Last week at Rotary, Angela Fetch Muzyka from the Coordinated Suicide Prevention Program, talked about their "Creating Hope" campaign to reduce the stigma around suicide and mental health. She talked about some shocking stats about suicide and the work she is doing in the region. This week is Suicide Awareness Week, and there are a variety of things going on. This week at Rotary, Treasurer Mark Radke will be presenting the Club Administration budget for review, and, if possible, adoption by the club. This is the budget that covers the club's internal operations, not the budget that includes our general fundraising and service projects. The board decided to separate these two budgets for consideration because they are distinct. If the club sees fit to pass the club administration budget, we will send out dues invoices shortly thereafter. Consideration of the service projects budget will occur in early October.
