July meetings will continue to be dedicated to planning and feedback. The board needs direction from the membership in preparation of the budget. Last week, we discussed the People of Action Project and whether it should continue. If you have not responded to the email sent out last week, please take a few minutes to provide your input. This week’s meeting will be about club PROJECTS. More specifically, is there a MAJOR PROJECT our club should be looking to start this year. When we look around Spruce Grove and see large Rotary projects like: the Broxton Park School Playground, the Skatepark, the Playscape, and Rest Stops – we can take pride that we are part of the organization that built these community initiatives. Perhaps some of you were there with “boots on the ground”, fundraising and building those projects. It is time for our group to dig into our next large-scale community project. Bring your ideas and your vision and let’s brainstorm.THIS WEEK’S MEETING WILL BE ON ZOOM. I think the weather will be questionable AND I actually think the zoom format is better for the discussion I would like to have this week.
