Wings of Providence Second Stage Shelter

 
WINGS (Women In Need Growing Stronger) provides a second-stage shelter and affordable housing in Edmonton to women and children who have left circumstances of family violence.  Each year in November, our club hosts a "Silly Santa" auction where members wrap up "re-gifted" items and they are auctioned off to the highest bidder who usually has no idea what he or she is going to get.  100% of the proceeds from the auction are used to by housecoats and gifts for the mothers and children staying at the shelter over Christmas.
