Update.  At the March 15th meeting the club debated the merits of supporting the Very Special Paws and Victim Services with a therapy dog.  (Heart Healer)  There was significant support for supporting the program but not with a 3 year commitment without dedicated funds earmarked for this project already in the bank.  Unless there are funds in the bank earmarked for a project we have not made that kind of a commitment in the past.  There was considerable recognition our club has provided long term support for many groups without a formal written commitment.

After 2 amendments...our club passed a motion to support the project for this 2017-18 year with the intent to seriously consider supporting in the longer term on a yearly basis.  It was noted members were delighted at the high quality of debate that took place...congratulations Rotary Club of Spruce Grove.

Jo Ann Yewchuk and J'Nell Perkins of Victim Services were delighted!!    They indicated they hope to introduce Wicket to our community at the Black and White Celebration...

Say hello to...Wicket!!
