November is Rotary Foundation Month, and we want to encourage you to give more to the Rotary Foundation and to learn more about the Foundation. Paul Harris Points Promotion: We want to encourage all members to be a donor to the Foundation, and so we are once again offering bonus Paul Harris points (from our Club’s allotment) to members who either sign up for Rotary Direct for the first time, add to their current contribution or who make a one time extra donation between Nov 1 and the end of December: - NEW monthly Rotary Direct donors and existing RD donors who INCREASE their donation by at least $18 CAD/month will get 3:1 Paul Harris points (PHPs) for 6 months’ worth of donations.
- ONE-TIME (or annual) donors in November or December will also get 3:1 PHPs.
This year we also want to encourage members to identify worthy “friends” of Rotary who deserve Paul Harris recognition, and transfer some of the members’ recognition points to those friends. Foundation Awareness: At each meeting in November, we will highlight something about the Rotary Foundation, and how our club is involved.
