1.  Rotary Run For Life.  Notes from the recent Board meeting including Notice of Motion for tomorrow, May 24th.
Rotary Run for Life.

Brad moved and John seconded to give RRFL a special unbudgeted donation of $12,500 as our part of the RRF September 2018 operating costs. Tammy proposed, an amendment to the motion to state this contribution is just for the September 2018 RRFL RRFL is a service project and should be treated as such. If they want a contribution for 2019 their Committee should submit a “Letter of Request” stating what they want from us in terms of money and volunteers. The Club will then review the request. Catherine was opposed.

A Notice of Motion regarding this will be presented at our next meeting.

This is in lieu of fulfilling the RRFL Committee’s request that we appoint to Spruce Grove Rotarians to canvass for sponsors. Our new Partnership Program states that their RRFL contribution is covered in their sponsorship money.
