Happy New Year   2018

Congratulations to Catherine Pederson and the club members who are working on supporting a new club project, Days for Girls and of course the Wine Survivor fund raiser that raised $5 400.00 for this project.  A reminder about Days for Girls...

Days for Girls provides support to girls and women by providing sustainable feminine hygiene solutions.  This support results in the girls and women to be better able to access education, better health, better opportunity and thus improved freedom.  Check the short video.

Congratulations to Tony Zeglen who produced an amazing book documenting 50 projects the Rotary Club of Spruce Grove have contributed to.  The book, Profiles of Service, is a collection of 50 one page stories and pictures of service projects we have supported.  As Tony indicated, the, Profiles of Service is an unintended product of his work on preparing profiles for the upcoming Partnership Procurement Project that he Mark Radke and others are involved in.  Watch for info about the Partnership Procurement Project which will now be a major fundraiser for our club.

Mark the calendar...Black and White, Saturday Night, May 26th, Celebrating our 25th.  Also watch for more info about this event and new format and focus for our annual major event.

Merry Christmas message and card from our Amarok School

And the note...
It is a pleasure to send your card on to you.  The women and children work very hard on their card to you.  For most Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Holidays are unknown concepts and yet the women and children want to wish you well at times that are important to you.
