1.  I was not able to attend the Goodwill Impact Centre opening but I heard it was great!!  Word is that YCR2 is very happy with their space at the Impact Centre.  Wonderful.

 

2.  Thursday, Feb. 9th club meeting.  RCMP Inspector Hill was to be our speaker but has had to cancel this week due to an important new commitment.  Corporal Kim Mueller will be our speaker who many of us know and will bring info about the programs the RCMP have to support local First Nations youth.  On March 18th there will be a First Responders Regimental Ball at the Heritage Pavilion in Stony Plain.  This event well be a fund raiser for the RCMP programs for First Nations youth.

 

3.  Thursday, Feb. 16th club meeting.  Valentines Day Special...bring your partner and we will have some fun!!

 

4.  Thursday, Feb. 23rd club meeting.  Dr. Dianne McConnell, Associate Superintendent with Parkland School Division will be presenting about programs the Parkland School Division has to support First Nations students.  This continues the discussion from the meeting of Feb. 9th with Corporal Kim Mueller and the RCMP programs supporting First Nations youth.
