Parkland Food Bank Tour
Last week we had the opportunity to visit the Parkland Food Bank.  Sheri Ratsoy showed us how the Food Bank has become very efficient in distributing food to people in need.  She also showed us the expansion/renovation of the building and how that is making their job easier.  It was a very interesting tour.  Many thanks to Sheri for showing us around and to Shotz Lounge for bringing us our lunch off site.  It was very delicious as always.

Congratulations Nizar on all your hard work!  I'm glad that Barry and Allan were able to make it out for your graduation.  For anyone that is new and has no idea what is going on: Nizar has been on a leave of absence from the club for last two years working on his MBA.

Attendance at Weekly Meetings
Just a quick reminder that if you are going to be away and won't be attending a weekly meeting, can you please indicate by clicking the "Can't Make It" Button.  The email comes out on Fridays and is called the "May Rotary Meetings" or whichever month it is.  The email comes from Crystal Desilets.  I use this info for informing Shotz how many people will be there for lunch.  Also if you are bringing a guest could you fill in the "Bring a Guest" button.  Thanks for helping out with this as it's makes my job easier if I have all the information.
Upcoming Things to Consider

June 13th - Wilson & Danielle Nelson: the Nelson Homestead.  Spruce Grove does not have many historical sights designated.  Come and hear about the journey Wilson & Danielle Nelson are taking to perserve their family home as a designated historical site.  They will be sharing their journey with our club.

June 20th - Changeover Event being held at Camp' N Class RV Park in Stony Plain.  Look for an email coming on Wednesday to R.S.V.P.  No Lunch Meeting this week.
