Last week at the meeting was our Budget Presentation. Presented by Mark Radke and Neil Hollands. Everything went well and the club voted to accept the budget as presented. This was our first official meeting in Shotz Lounge. Lunch was delicious. It was an Asian inspired menu with an awesome dessert of ice cream and peach filled spring roll. This week (October 4th)for our speaker/topic we have: Dr. Mikolaj Raszek Genome Sequencing: Your Medical Applications Come listen to Dr. Raszek speak about current common uses of genome sequencing in medicine, who benefits from having sequencing done, and things you need to consider prior to having this done. Next week (October 11th) we are going on a vocational visit to Jen-col in Acheson to see their new office, etc. Lunch will be catered by Perks Coffee House.
