1.  Last Thursday Tony did a great job providing an overview of, Recording your family tree with data, documents and photos.  Thanks Tony.  I have not had any interest in charting my family tree but I came away from the presentation thinking that other people, including maybe our grandchildren, might be interested in the family history sometime.  That may be the reason to take on the project..  And...I might add, Tony would help guide any of us through the process.  Guide...not do for us.  Thanks again Tony.

 

2.  Club meeting, Jan. 26th, Club Membership   The Membership Committee will be presenting the results from the recent Membership Survey.  Should be some interesting discussion.

 

3.  Friends of Rotary    At the Board meeting yesterday a small list of names was approved to be considered, Friends of Rotary.  A reminder, this means this group will receive an email once per month which provides info about what is happening with the Rotary Club of Spruce Grove.  This email will be sent around the end/beginning of the month.

 

At present my thinking is I will use this email, which will have a little more info than the typical RAP bulletin, as the RAP for that week as well.  In addition, if you have people you think would be interested in receiving a monthly email you could forward them the Friends of Rotary email to give them an idea of what we are talking about.  To get on the list of regular emails they need to be recommended by a club member to be a Friend of Rotary and the board needs to approve them at the board's monthly meeting. 

 

4.  Club Meeting, Feb. 2nd.  Visitation to the new Goodwill Impact Centre.
