And...Tickets sales for the upcoming, Black and White Gala, Celebrating 25 years of service are slow,...which historically...is normal!!  But...with the changes we are concerned about numbers.  In good Rotarian fashion we are last minute folks.

I understand there has been considerable comment as to this years celebration.  Let me comment as well...

Last year the tickets were either $100.00 or $125.00 without any tax receipt and the event had 5 activities to generate funds for the service we provide to our community, international groups, our youth and to capital projects.  (Live Auction, Silent Action, 50-50, Heads and Tails and a Cash Appeal)  Note...over the last 25 years we have supported 50 different projects!!

I do not know all the numbers but I do know that the Cash Appeal for the Amarok Society raised $29 500.00.  This is an average of about $100.00 per attendee.

So without including any spending from 4 of the activities attendees on average spent $350.00.  This year they will spend $400.00 plus receive a tax receipt for $200.00 of their cost.  Cost is less then last year without calculating any spending for the Live Auction, Silent auction, 50-50 or Heads and Tails.

Many attendees will save money in comparison to previous years!!

Celebrate 25 years of service, 50 projects, involvement in our community and friendship!!
