April 26, 2018.  Brad Mastaler brings us some history and perspective.
Some things never change, and thankfully some do!
Join us at Rotary this Thursday for a special screening of “The Great Adventure of Rotary”.  Released in 1955, this promotional short film is horribly campy by our standards today, but if you look past the trappings of the time, you see the essence of Rotary.  Come and marvel at the way things have changed and be even more surprised by the things that haven’t!  We guarantee you’ll learn a thing or two, not the least of which will be “how not to wear a tie” and “how not to fake an Australian accent”.

May 3.  Maureen Ligtvoet and father/elder, Ernie Callihoo.  History of the Michel Band and growing up in the area as a First Nation women.

May 10.  Dr. Tran Davies, Local area Doctor and Author.

Anne Montgomery is sponsoring a contest to award two tickets to members, and two tickets to non -members. Contestants send in a selfie standing in front of a “Rotary of Spruce Grove” sign. They can send in multiple entries, but each entry must be taken in front of a different sign. The entries will be drawn from the drum. Chris will post the contest on Facebook and Clubrunner.
