Message from our Collections Team:Good morning Volunteers!We are currently experiencing an immediate need for new and returning blood donors.Recent circumstances have affected donor attendance and we are seeing a concerning trend in the national inventory of blood products…we're hoping for some support from our wonderful volunteers!We are asking any volunteers who might eligible to donate to consider booking an appointment in the next week or two and encourage family members or friends to do so as well.One in two people in Canada are eligible to donate whole blood, plasma, and platelets, but only one in 81 does. Those regular donors provide necessary products for everyone else.Canada needs many more donors, new and returning, come forward and help meet patient needs.If you are not eligible to donate, please consider spreading awareness on social media!Thank you for your support.
