Arlaine provided an update on the Connecting with our Aboriginal Neighbours committee. Next meeting is April 5th at 4:30PM at the Spruce Grove Public Library.

The proceeds from the Celebrate Reconciliation and Relationships will be used to purchase Aboriginal resources in partnership with the Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County Libraries including the FNMI resource kit $1,200; $245 for books for the Paul First Nations mini public library; and $1,700 to be selected in partnership with Aboriginal children for the First Nations mini Libraries at Alexis and Paul. The committee hopes to do Rotary presentation of these resources to the First Nations communities.
