Dear Members of St. Albert Saint City, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland After Dark Rotary Clubs,

It is a pleasure to send your letter from your school in Dhaka on to you!  Reading the letter is an indication of just how far the women have come.  They are now activists, social workers and teachers working for the betterment of their communities.  It is wonderful.  The Pandemic brought additional crisis to their lives which were already challenged however they have managed and come through each one.  Food was a big problem - they are sharing and even providing for those who have none.  Women have found ways to make money through tailoring  and embroidery for example and being generous in spirit they have taught other women as well.  There are so many stories, so many instances where the women have worked together. Prior to going to school that would have never happened. Their children continue to learn through the Micro Schools and it is almost certain that every child will attend high school and many will go to College or University.  This is amazing!   Our women have learned so much and with the support of each other and their teachers they are unstoppable!

Thank you very much for your incredible contribution to this school!  It is a guiding light in the community and the brightest part of each woman’s day.

With Warm Regards,
